Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed concerns from some European NATO members regarding potential conflict, stating that Russia is not preparing for hostilities with Europe. Putin emphasized that Moscow has no reason to escalate tensions with European countries and criticized claims suggesting otherwise.

During his statements, Putin also mentioned that Russia is considering the possibility of resuming peace talks with Ukraine. He noted that this decision would follow a careful assessment of recent developments, including Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory.

Despite these diplomatic considerations, Russian military actions in Ukraine persist. Airstrikes across the country have resulted in casualties and significant damage to infrastructure. One such attack in Kyiv led to the deaths of seven individuals, including a 14-year-old boy, and left dozens injured.

The conflict’s impact on Ukraine’s economy continues to be severe, as illustrated by the shutdown of production at the nation’s largest steel plant, operated by ArcelorMittal. Repeated Russian strikes have caused damage to the facility and resulted in worker fatalities, adding further economic pressure on Ukraine as the conflict endures.
